In case you haven't lived many places, the Tri-Cities is a great place to be. There are a ton of reasons why this is a great place to live and raise a family and here are a few of the best. When I moved here over 10 years ago, I didn't know hardly anything about this area, but now I am glad I moved.

    Taco Trucks

I grew up in Spokane where there is no such thing as taco trucks. I actually spent the first two years here without ever going to eat at one. Now I go almost every week! Don't miss out on your chance. You can tell a great taco truck by watching to see if it looks busy. If there is a line at lunch, it is good.

You can literally drive from one side of Tri-Cities to the other in about 15 minutes. Anyone that has spent time in Seattle or Portland, or lived on the north side of Spokane will laugh if you tell them that's a long commute.

    Hiking Trails

There are plenty of hiking trails around from Badger Mountain to all the canyons and mountains within driving distance. Another great perk is the miles and miles of paved trails that are all over the area for you to run on. There are also mountain ranges with a few hours drive on both sides of the Tri-Cities.

    Affordible Housing

Another category that this area ranks very high in is housing. The market value on houses just keeps raising because of the high demand. If you can, make sure you own a house because it is worth it here.

That allows for access to lots of shows and events that you wouldn't normally have access too living is a city this size. A 3 hour drive is short compared to most places to experience the kinds of things we get because of location.
