The annual "Christmas Lighted Boat Parade" is this Friday and Saturday and you don't want to miss it. The parade leaves Clover Island around 6 pm and follows the river down past Howard Amon park and back. The picture above is the parade route that you can find on their official website and I put 3 good locations to watch from.

  • 1

    Clover Island

The parade route starts and ends here so you get technically two chances to see it. They also go down both sides of the river between the Blue and Cable bridge so either side will work. Farther down the river, they stay mostly to the Benton County side.

    Along Columbia Park

The area of Columbia Park is huge so find a spot to park with your car to stay warm and enjoy. There should be plenty of places but stay on the Kennewick side because you will have a better view.

    Howard Amon Park

The parade route goes past Columbia park and all the way past Howard Amon then turns around about 7:30 and heads back the way they came. If you live in Richland or Pasco, this may be the closest place to watch it. There just are not as many places to park and watch from your car.
