Pasco police had to use an army of officers to finally stop what turned out to be 3 huge fights at different locations between two large groups of teens.

Some of the teens were armed with improvised weapons like "a sprocket tied to a sock and a padlock tied to a bandanna, used as swinging impact weapons".

Police got reports of the large fight at Sylvester Park between two females that had past confrontations and had another argument at a nearby store. The teens had agreed to meet at the park to "talk it out", according to reports.

When Pasco police showed up they found multiple teens fighting and either "bleeding, yelling, or running away". After the groups scattered, they met up another location with more reinforcements and continued the fight near the Lourdes ER and then at Volunteer Park.

It took "many officers" and a lot of time to stop the fighting, question all the teens involved, and treat the injured. In all 8 people were arrested connected to the incident. Most of those arrested were female and juvenile.

A 23-year-old male from Pasco was booked into Franklin County Jail on an investigative hold for Possessing a Legend Drug and Criminal Mischief.

A 23-year-old female from Pasco was booked into Franklin County Jail (after receiving medical treatment) for Criminal Mischief and Violation of Court Order and later released.

A 15-year-old male from Pasco was arrested for Riot and booked into Juvenile Detention.

Two 14-year-old females from Pasco, a 15-year-old female from Pasco, a 16-year-old male from Pasco, and a 16-year-old female from Pasco were all arrested for Criminal Mischief and booked into Juvenile Detention.

Honestly, the best part of the whole post is where Pasco Pd calls out the teens that started the fight in the first place.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind our residents that losing a fight does not automatically give you “victim” status. It is quite possible to start a fight without lawful excuse, lose it badly, and still get charged with a crime.
