After Losing to the Seahawks, Texan QB Out for Year
Less than a week after throwing 400+ yards and 4 touchdowns against Seattle, Texans QB Deshawn Watson is out for the year.
It was confirmed he tore his ACL in practice and will miss the rest of the season.
He had earned the respect of Russell Wilson, who said “just give him Rookie of the Year” award. The game was one of the very few times in NFL history two QBs threw 400 yards each in the same game.
Richard Sherman said “he’ll be a top 5 QB next year, and I have Brady and Rodgers on that list.”

After not starting in week 1, Watson currently shares the lead league in touchdown passes with Carson Wentz. Each have 19 scores through the air.
