A friend of mine was digging around in census statistics and discovered more than 40,000 Californians moved to Washington State (mostly to the Seattle, Tacoma and Vancouver areas) during the last year of record (2014). Surprisingly, one state had far, far fewer people come than any other state: New Hampshire.

It is believed Oregon and Washington have better economies (or at least lower costs of living) than California, so that migration makes sense. And it makes sense that small states would only send a few hundred people here. but why only 91?
Maybe because New Hampshire is so great no one wants to leave. I'll buy that. But it almost seems like they must hate us!
