Ashanti Teams Up With Rick Ross for ‘I Got It’

As Ashanti puts the finishing touches on her long-awaited album, 'BraveHeart,' she drops her new single, 'I Got It' featuring Rick Ross.

The song was originally leaked back in the summer with Future on the track. This new version features the Astronaut Kid’s ad-libs but it’s Rozay who gets to spit a verse.

Produced by LT Hutton, the uptempo track finds the singer celebrating her accolades in the love department.

"Well, I’m ready, everything capable / So come get it, what are you waiting for? / If I’m with it, hit it, now watch it blow / When I’m finish with it, you’ll see it explode," she sings.

Ashanti reiterates her bedroom prowess on the chorus, singing, "If you want it, I got it / My body on your body / You wake up, I got it / Whatever you need, I got it / This body on lock / And we can take it there / Anything you could think of we can take it there."

Meanwhile, Rozay tries to add his come-hither verse to the mix but instead promotes his upcoming album, 'Mastermind.' He spits, "They said I'm hard to kill, there's money on my head / 'Mastermind' coming, still running from the feds."

Barring Ross' throwaway verse, you can easily imagine Ashanti cooing the seductive lyrics of 'I Got It' in the bedroom.
