Not only do celebrities have big money, they have big hearts as well. The media tends to focus on their expensive indulges so charitable acts sometimes go unnoticed. However, DoSomething.org just released its annual Celebs Gone Good list, which salutes celebrities’ altruism in 2013.

Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore, among others, grace the charity organization's list.

Queen Bey came in at No. 3 and was praised for headlining London’s 'Chime for Change' concert for women’s rights. We would also add her BeyGOOD campaign, which benefited Goodwill's employment programs for the needy.

Macklemore finished at No. 5 on the list. The Seattle native and his partner Ryan Lewis were recognized for the marriage-equality song 'Same Love,' which sparked a national conversion about same-sex partnerships. Macklemore also teamed up with the ONE's agit8 campaign to urge world leaders and youth to fight against extreme poverty around the world.

Finally, K.Dot came in at No. 19. Although he was one of the busiest rappers in 2013, he did take time out for some charitable deeds. The Compton, Calif., rhymer used his voice and image to raise thousands of dollars for the Red Cross to help victims in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

It’s always good to see celebrities give back.
