The Morrow County Sheriff's office confirms a Boardman High School coach is in jail after being accused of supplying alcohol to Riverside High School male athletes.

Officials didn't specify which team or players were allegedly receiving the alcohol. 27-year-old Matthew Ryan Summers-Johnson, an educational assistant and sports coach, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Clatsop County for a previous DUI violation of some sort.  Officials didn't say when that infraction occurred, but he is also being investigated for the alleged supplying of alcohol to the players.

Summers-Johnson was hired by the Boardman School District during the summer of 2015.

He was arrested on the outstanding warrant February 19th, and the Morrow County Prosecuting Attorney's office is looking into the allegations of supply the alcohol to players.
