A SkyWest flight landed safely in Pasco after a problem with the landing gear caused the plane to return.

Officials say the pilots saw a warning alert and it was decided to bring the plane back instead of flying to Seattle.

Before they landed, the pilots circled the airport to burn off fuel so the plane could land safely. After the plane landed it was able to taxi like normal and only seemed to have a problem with a sensor, according to news reports.

There were no injuries and all 70 passengers unloaded from the plane normally.

The affected SkyWest Airlines flight is run by Delta Airlines.

Pasco emergency services were ready with support and closed off a part of the runway, according to video from news reports.
