Calling All Tri-Cities Singers, Dancers, and Actors!

A lot of people wouldn't guess that we have a thriving arts scene here in the Tri-Cities. Even people who live here don't realize that we have acting companies, choral groups, and incredible musical theater right here in the TC. Well folks, we do! And a few of these groups have some auditions coming up! If you can sing, dance, act, or even lip-sync you can find a way to release your inner star and join others in fantastic productions year round.

There are three different auditions coming up for productions here in town. Take a look below and find out which is right for you! All of the auditions are open to all (some have age limits so check that), and the production teams are looking for a diverse group of people to try out. ALL are welcome!! So, if you want to join some AMAZING productions and share your art and talents with the Tri-Cities, here's your chance!

The Mystery of Edwin Drood-  Save the date to audition for a choose your own adventure, steampunk, musical! Auditions for The Mystery of Edwin Drood presented by Mid Columbia Musical Theatre are coming next month! The Mystery of Edwin Drood takes the audience on a lively romp through the last story that Charles Dickens ever wrote, and never finished! This mystery remains unsolved and the audience must vote each night to solve it! If you enjoy upbeat, lively performance with a flair for the dramatic and audience interaction, then this is the show to audition for! Auditions are on August 26th from 3-7pm at the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music at 21 Aaron Dr., in Richland.

Mastersingers Auditions-   Auditions for the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers 2018-19 season will be held over the course of four days: August 8th-11th. Click here for more detailed audition information and expectations. Email jraffa@mcmastersingers.org with any questions and to schedule a 15 minute audition slot. An accompanist will be provided. Mid-Columbia Mastersingers consists of three ensemble tiers open to adults and advanced high school students: a Chamber choir, Symphonic choir, and Treble choir for upper voices. Auditions will be held in our office in the MacHunter Building lcoated at 1177 Jadwin Ave in Richland.

Shadow Cast Auditions-  They are doing something brand new for them! The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast!  Ever wanted to join in the fun? Do you love to entertain? This will be lip syncing performance of select scenes, performed in tandem while the feature film plays. Many drag performers will be auditioning for parts in the performance, but the auditions are open to anyone in the community who may be interested performing or taking part.  Prepare a lip sync for your choice of character and audition for the part you'd like. Must be 21 and over.
