Confederate Memorial Vandalized in Seattle

Reports say a confederate memorial in Seattle was vandalized with a hate message spray painted on the front. The message said "F*&k white supremacy", and if the people that painted the message understood history they would realize how dumb they are.

I understand that the confederate flag stood for the group against racial equality in the 1960's, but a confederate monument is not a confederate flag. There is not any hint of a confederate flag or anything racist at the memorial. It was created by the daughters of two confederate war veterans. I know a lot of people think that the confederacy only stood for slavery, but it was way more then that.

It is sad to me that some people that pretend to care so much about a topic like racism don't really understand the history behind it. The statement they are trying to make is overshadowed by their complete lack of perspective and intelligence.
