Ever Wanted to Send a Smell Via Text?–Well, It’s Coming Soon!

I'm not sure how I feel about this new thing called oPhone. Have you ever wondered if it would ever be possible to send smells via text messaging and/or through a device? Now you can!!!! There's a Harvard engineer who has invented a new device that allows you to send smells to your friends and family. It's capable of sending and receiving about 300,000 unique smells. This is something I probably would not purchase for myself. The only things that I would care about smelling that's from a friend would be things like gift flowers or home made cooking, other than that, I'm not interested in receiving any smelling suggestions from friends. I can honestly see this being used for very disturbing purposes which is why I'll refuse to own one. But, if this is something that you'd be interested in, the oPhone will be available for purchase in 2015 and will cost about $199.
