Ricardo Lockette spoke at Garfield High School and sparked an outrage with comments he said during his speech. He was speaking about bullying and told his audience that guys should "take the lead" and stand up when they see female students being bullied. He said "You guys are responsible for these young ladies. You are the captain. You are the head" according to new reports.

Listen to the whole conversation here:

In the conversation you can hear the reaction from one of the girls in the audience who says "I don't need a man in my life to tell me what I can and can't do,". Lockette tries to respond but only digs himself deeper and eventually makes the comment that caused around a dozen female students to leave the room, "If your daddy wasn't there, you wouldn't be in that chair."

Right after a group of 12 female students walked out of the speech, but returned after Lockette was off the stage. The students said they were "infuriated" by the comments according to sources.
