Happy Blue Friday: Aldon Smith Arrested and Released from 49ers

49er defensive star Aldon Smith was arrested last night with multiple charges including DUI and Hit and Run. Reports say that soon after the 49ers released their star player after his third arrest for DUI since joining the NFL. Aldon met with the General Manager after being released and they say he refused to take responsibility for his actions forcing them to cut him.

"This organization has tried very hard to help Aldon fight his issues. Although he is no longer a member of this team, our support and concern for him will continue."

 

As a Seahawk fan it almost makes me smile because he was half of their defense and that is good for us. But as a person, I am sad for him and hope he gets help.
