Netflix has a documentary about Amanda Knox and her struggle with the Italian government earlier this year.

In 2007 Amanda and her then boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were both found guilty of killing Meredith Kercher, Amanda's roommate. They both received 26 and 25 years in prison.

Amanda was finally turned over to the American government after fighting nearly 15 years with the Italians for her freedom. The documentary tells her full story and what happened the night of the death of Kercher.

In 2015 she was brought back to America where she enrolled in school to finish her degree and began living a normal life.

The documentary implies she was wrongly accused, and points out several times the Italians used unethical means to paint her as a predator and a liar. Even though most popular Netflix crime documentaries are about obscure crimes, leaving you to wonder what the conclusion was, this one focuses on the details of a situation everyone knows the end of.
