How to Separate Frozen Burger Patties Without Loosing a Finger

I usually buy fresh burger but I was in a hurry and we had these in our freezer. If you have ever tried to pull frozen hamburger patties apart in a small amount of time, you know it is not easy. If you have to do this in a hurry, I have a few tips so you do not loose a finger!

First grab a regular butter knife and carefully push the flat blade between the crack in the patties. At first it may not go in easy but keep wiggling it until it starts to slide in. Once you get it to start separating it should be pretty easy, but still be careful.

Once you get one done, the rest should come apart pretty easy. My last piece of advice would be to hold on to the patties good so you don't loose grip and they take a tumble on the ground.
