I love it when a new song comes out that I love. There are a LOT of new songs that are mediocre or boring, but some that get in to our heads and hearts and we just LOVE. When I saw that Marshmallow and Bastille did a song together I was like, YASS! Love them both. And when I head the song I was even more excited! It's so good! It's got a great beat and smooth vocals, and it's a toe-tapper for sure.

But upon further listening I realized that the lyrics were a lot deeper than the upbeat sound of the song. The words evoke those feelings of when you're in a situation that you need to get our of because you want the other person to be happier.

When the evening falls
And I'm left there with my thoughts
And the image of you being with someone else
Well, it's eating me up inside
But we ran our course, we pretended that we're okay
Now if we jump together at least we can swim
Far away from the wreck we made

[Chorus]
Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I wanna raise your spirits
I want to see you smile
Know that means I'll have to leave

The lyrics can be applied to a job, or relationship, and many other situations, and I dedicated it to my friends who I know are going through hard times.

Then the music video came out. And not gonna lie, I LITERALLY bawled like a baby! I'm not even going to explain it. Just watch. It's beautiful and sad, and amazing. This brings the song to w whole new level. If tears don't come to your eyes, you may have a cold cold heart. But for real, watch. It's awesome.
