Jon Connor Announces Signing to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment During BET Awards Cypher [VIDEO]

After photos and a leaked freestyle surfaced last month, it's now official. Jon Connor announced that he will be joining his fellow Michigan native Eminem on Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment.

The Flint, MI rapper made an appearance and stated his signing during the opening cypher of the BET Hip Hop Awards. The self proclaimed People's Rapper ripped up the last few bars by saying 'All ya'll knew that I was ill, but now my doctor is Dre.'

Congratulations to Connor on the signing, but I also hope this news will help shed some light on the talents of a couple other artists featured in this cypher, Wax and Rittz. Both of those guys have got some great stuff and deserve all the success they receive. Other artists featured in this year's cyphers were Kendrick Lamar and TDE, Rapsody, Emis Killa, A$AP Mob, Lil Kim, Action Bronson, Travi$ Scott, Tiffany Foxx and Star Life Breezy, and Slaughterhouse.
