Usually, the two brightest planets in our solar system (Jupiter and Venus) aren't this close. Normally, if you use your hands to measure the distance, they're about two fists apart. But over the month of June they've gotten closer and closer, and tonight they'll be about a thumb's width apart. If you're into sky gazing, this is an event you don't want to miss! Tonight's sky should be clear over the Tri-Cities, so we can see this gorgeous and rare event! They're going to form a kind of "super star" that should be gorgeous! Get out the binoculars, telescopes, or a really good smart phone camera to see this celestial beauty! You won't want to miss it!
