Kennewick Night Club Hosts Girl-on-Girl Kissing Contest – Good Fun or Tacky? [POLL]

When I first saw the flier for the Girl-on-Girl kissing contest on Facebook I thought it was a joke. You know, one of those silly memes, or a story from The Onion. But nope, it's real. So many thoughts bombarded my skull: is this what they think will bring in business? Would they have a guy-on-guy kissing contest? Who are these girls doing the contest? And so on...

For me, this is a tacky, sexist, and ridiculous ploy to get bodies in to the club to make money. But then I thought, maybe I'm over-reacting. I mean, if it works and everyone is having fun... I'm in the mindset that it's basically live soft core porn (come on guys, they have web sites for that), and there's no way they'd have a guy version of the contest, so it's completely one-sided. I have no problem with anyone kissing who they want, but making a contest out of watching women make out seems a bit sketchy. Then again, maybe I'm just getting old.
