A Kennewick woman is facing an arrest warrant for allegedly stealing almost $200K from her mothers retirement account. Karrlee T. Clements, 35, is accused of stealing the money after setting up multiple credit card accounts in both their names to avoid suspicion. Clements says that she took the money and spent it on renovations for the house both her and her mother live in. Police say instead, she was telling her mother inflated prices and pocketing the extra money for herself. News reports say amount is almost $200K since the beginning of 2014 when her mother retired from Hanford.

Clements was caught because of a tip from her brother who is a Las Vegas police officer. Both he and his wife had heard Clements talking about taking the money and decided to contact the Kennewick police.
