Man Gets 15 Months for Fighting Firefighters After Starting Blaze
A 22-year-old construction worker living in the Shoreline Apartments off Duportail Road in Richland was finally sentenced for attacking firefighters and a nurse.
Last October a man set a pile of clothes on fire hoping to burn his apartment down. When firefighters arrived he fought them and had to be restrained on the ground until police arrived.
Then for unknown reasons he was taken to Kadlec, where he slapped the male nurse taking his vitals and destroyed a monitor.
He was sentenced to 15 months for the two episodes.
