It is not uncommon for Moses Lake Police to respond to domestic violence situations, but the "weapons" used in one situation were certainly unique.

After his girlfriend did not respond to his calls last spring he kicked her door in and fought with her. According to court documents, he swung a "children's slide" at her, bruising several ribs. In defense, she grabbed a baseball bat and swung it at him. Not even she was sure if she hit him or did any damage.

When police arrived he refused to come out, creating a stand off and motivating the police to use flash grenades and an impact baton.
