No Wonder Pot is Legal – Alcohol is the Most Expensive in Washington

Sure we've got beautiful scenery, bustling cities, gorgeous country side, legal pot, and the Seahawks, but Washington doesn't have EVERYTHING going for us! According to the Tax Foundation, Washington has the highest taxes on alcohol making our state the most expensive place to drink in the US! Oregon is close behind at #2. Wyoming and New Hampshire are the cheapest.  The rankings are based on the amount of taxes placed on alcohol by the state.  So, next time you buy a 6-pack or bottle of Jack remember that if you cross the border into Idaho to get your buzz on, it will be MUCH cheaper.
