Tonight's game is big for many reasons but with the bye week over the Seahawks start a horrific 13 game in 12 week schedule tonight on ESPN. It is important to start that string off with a win on the road especially against a 1-3 team. Washington is not going to be easy even though they got blown out last week by the Giants and here is why.

Last week the Giants humiliated Washington 45-14. It wasn't even that close if you watched the game, it was that bad. When a team gets embarrassed like that it lights a fire that is hard to put out. Look how hard the Hawks played the Broncos after getting beat by the Chargers. Last night the Patriots handed the Bengals their first loss after being embarrassed the week before. I hope the Hawks think about that going in. they have to hit them hard right from the beginning and take them out early.

The Seahawks are also coming off an early bye week and could be sluggish out of the gate. According to all the week long press releases the Hawks have had a great week of practice and are pretty healthy except in one position. which brings me to my next point.

Miller, our starting and most relied upon tight end is out with ankle surgery and so that side of pass blocking will be weak. Miller is a great blocker and almost impossible to replace so I hope his back up, Luke Willson, steps up. He has been with the team for a while now and might be ready to show his stuff. He is a great receiver and has plenty of speed but has been weak on his pass blocking. He better be ready because if it were me, I would be sending my best rushers against him all day long trying to get to Russell Wilson the QB.
