Richland Father and Daughter Die in UTV Accident

On Sunday, May 29, 36-year-old Daniel Gabica, and his 10-year-old daughter Madilyn Gabica died in the Umatilla National Forest near Pomeroy.

Daniel, and Madilyn were driving in a UTV with two other people. The vehicle lost control and crashed ejecting Daniel and Madilyn from their seats. The father and daughter were found dead at the scene.

Madilyn Gabica was a 5th grader attending Badger Mountain Elementary school in Richland with a bright future. When her school became aware of the incident, the students made cards of sympathy for the remaining family.

Daniel Gabica and Madilyn Gabica were both loved by their friends and family, and even though they have left this world they will never leave the hearts of those they knew.
