Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette is having surgery today to repair damage to his neck that he injured on a blindside hit yesterday versus the Cowboys. Reports say Seahawks coach made the announcement today about surgery and that he will be out the rest of the season. He did not know if it would end his career. Lockette is having surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas but has all feeling and motion in all his arms and legs.

The scene on the field was scary after the blind hit by Dallas safety Heath and Lockette lay motionless for minutes. As they were carting him off the field Lockette raised one hand to give an "LOB" sign and the crowd erupted in cheers. Get well Lockette and get back to your brothers soon!
