See What Colorblind Fans Saw for NFL ‘Color Rush’ Game
Last night the NFL had it's first ever "Color Rush" game on Thursday Night Football and some of the audience couldn't tell the teams apart. The uniforms were solid red and green colors and people with color blindness were posting all night long about the oversight. One affected fan is also an ex NFL kicker for New York who tweeted "If you are colorblind like me this @NFL game is going to be hard to follow. @buffalobills vs @nyjets"
Reports say that According to the National Eye Institute 8 percent of men and 0.5 percent of women worldwide with Northern European ancestry are colorblind and that 10 million Americans suffer from it. I ran a filter through some Getty Images so you can see what a person with color blindness saw last night.
