Pasco's city council is considering banning smoking in parks. Seattle already has. What do you think?

The city is hearing from people complaining it diminishes their experience in a park. I can relate to that. No one wants to run and play and smell smoke.

Other people enjoy relaxing in the park and smoking is part of how they relax. They are tired of being stigmatized for something they enjoy, is legal, and doesn't hurt other people (in a park).

Also, many people don't throw their butts away. Even responsible smokers concede that point. Littering is bad for parks always.

It's a tough call. How do YOU think they should vote?
