So, no one in Washington won the super big 1.5 billion in the lottery last week, but one lucky stiff can at least take a year off! An Ameristar location in Prosser sold a winning ticket worth $100,000!! The winner didn't want to share their info (can you blame them), but it was confirmed that the Prosser location did sell a winner. Stores don't get a "commission" for selling winning tickets any more, but they do get 5% ($5,000) of the winning amount. Washington has no state tax on lottery winnings, so the winner will get to take home a big chunk of the cash! The store that sold the winning ticket is at 101 Merlot Drive, in Prosser. I know where I'm buying my next lotto ticket..!
