There has been a debate about whether cursive writing should still be taught in schools. In an age where writing things by hand (other than when we're first learning) is pretty limited, it makes sense to phase out a style of writing that well, isn't necessary anymore.

Just like calligraphy, or stone etchings, our way of passing on the written word has evolved. On the other hand, studies show that cursive writing is good for keeping the mind sharp and creativity. And what about your signature? Still others think money should be invested in other curriculum and/or make cursive an art or elective. And the debate goes on... There is even a new bill in Olympia requiring that cursive writing be taught in all schools.  So, what do you think? Should we phase out teaching cursive, or keep it?
