Things You Need to Survive ‘More Mud’ at the Black Widow Mud and Sun Run

There is a ton more mud this year at the Tire Factory and Max Muscle Black Widow Mud and Sun Run. So much more mud is added this year that you could drown if your not careful. In order to survive the mud run this year I have created a small list of things to get you across the finish line.

Cressi Panoramic Wide View Mask Dry Snorkel Set-You may need this to find your way out of the huge pits of pud that you will encounter in your way. You could also use it while running through the multiple water hoses that will spray you as you run by. The panoramic wide view is to help you see other runners beside you.

US Divers Trek Travel Fin-These may be hard to run in, but small enought to just carry with you for the huge mud pits you will have to swim through. I would not try and run on dry land with them, just put them over your shoulder.

Rust Oleum 274232 Never Wet Multi Purpose Kit-This stuff is amazing and will actually keep you from touching the mud at all. It will seem like you are getting muddy, but when you stand up the mud will just fall off you magically. The only downside to this is that you will look a little frosty for a while because it goes on kind of thick.
