Tumbleweeds: Hit Em or Swerve? [POLL]

When I first moved to the Tri-Cities, I encountered my first tumbleweeds. My first thoughts were, "Is it high noon somewhere? Where's the dueling gun fight?" And my second thought was, "Crap! Do I avoid it with my car, or run over the damn thing!?"

Since then I've found that there are two schools of thought: the Hitters, and the Avoiders, but I"m not sure who's right! So, we need to have this talk. When faced with tumbleweeds in the road, should I swerve (as safely as possible) to avoid them, or ram them right over? Take the poll and let's settle this thing once and for all!
