A toddler in King County has been diagnosed with a very rare disease that you can only get from raccoon droppings. Known as the Baylisascaris infection, it is caused by microscopic roundworm eggs found in the droppings of raccoons according to news reports. There have only been 29 cases of Baylisascaris infection in the United States since 1973 and this is the first ever for Washington State. The toddler is now home recovering and should make a full recovery.

Guardians of the Galaxy hero "Rocket the Raccoon" released a statement saying that he "had nothing to do with it". Rocket also wants to remind people that the best way to keep from catching this "raccoon poo disease" is to wash your hands after being outside.
