Colorado health advocates are warning parents to look out for pot candy this Halloween.

Pot treats look exactly like regular treats. That's the concern.

Most are not individually wrapped, however. So if parents throw out ALL candy not properly packaged in identifiable wrappers they will be fine.

The only way this candy could end up in a Trick-or-Treat pail is possibly if a home runs out of candy and grabs whatever they can find to give away, or someone gives marijuana-laced candy out as a joke.

But even though the candy looks identical to the safe treats, parents should be able to easily pick out suspicious items.

Moral of the story is parents should Trick-or-Treat with their kids when possible and ALWAYS inspect their candy afterwards.
