A woman has caught West Nile Virus in Benton County for the first time say health officials. This is the first reported case of West Nile Virus being caught in Benton County but has already been found in Adams, Franklin, Stevens, Yakima, and Grant counties according to news reports. They say that one in five people that catch West Nile Virus develop symptoms like fever and body aches.

Officials say the best way to avoid mosquitoes is with mosquito replant.
