WSU Voting to Make Campus Smoke Free
The WSU regents are going to vote to make the campus in Pullman completely smoke free. Reports say the board will vote this Friday which would add WSU to the list of over 1000 campuses that have already made the change. The ban would include all smoking and products that contain nicotine like chewing tobacco.
The people supporting the ban say its "trying to promote healthier lifestyles and choices and smoking cessation". If the ban is passed it would take affect next August when the school year starts.
