Snow will continue through 7pm tonight with another 1 - 3 inches possible.  Authorities are warning of slick conditions all over the Columbia Basin. Hanford Employees:

Due to adverse weather conditions, non-essential Hanford employees North of the Wye Barricade and South of the Wye Barricade including Richland should adhere to the following schedule to alleviate traffic congestion:

Day shift:

  • 200 East Area, WTP and all Areas South of the Wye Barricade, including employees working in Richland – 2:15 PM
  • 200 West Area and 100 Areas – 3:00 PM

Swing and graveyard shifts:  have been CANCELLED for tonight.

The Rattlesnake Barricade will be open from _2:00 - 6:00 PM_.

Essential employees needed to maintain minimum safe operations are to follow their normal work schedule.

Winter driving conditions should be expected.  Employees should use extra caution and plan for longer commute times.
