Living paycheck to paycheck can be pretty brutal, but in the Tri-Cities our paychecks go a LOT further than in other cities in the US. The Washington Post looked in to cities all over the country and compared salaries to living expenses (rent, food, gas...). it turns out that the Tri-Cities area is doing quite well, and our paychecks  an afford us a better living than in a lot of other cities!

Sure we don't have a world class ballet, or 15 museums, but we can afford to save, travel, or just enjoy all the wineries and local activities we do have! But the question is, where would you rather live: in a big city with lots of things to do, but have less money at the end of the month, or in a smaller city where your money go further?
