What Seattle-Based Company Now Employs 24,000 in Washington?

If you're looking for a job, you'll probably want to check out these guys! Seattle-based Amazon released some numbers over the weekend, and they're looking great!

As of now they employee around 24,000 in Washington state, and they are looking to keep growing! This makes Amazon one of the top employers in the state.

"Their revenue growth was enough to make it the second largest public company in the state. It was the first time it exceeded Microsoft's revenue. The No. 1 spot has long gone to Costco Wholesale Corp., which reported $112.64 billion last year," according to Puget Sound Business Journal.

The company is working on a three-block campus in downtown Seattle (which is causing some discontent in the city), but most of their new hiring will be in operational centers like Bellevue, DuPont, Kennewick, and Sumner. So hey, if you know anyone who needs a job, or you're looking to switch jobs, Amazon may be a good bet.
