We were expecting crazy amounts of rain this weekend on the coast, and they got it. There were at least 3 different cities that had new all time records for daily rainfall on the coast of Washington State. Seattle, Olympia, & Hoquiam all broke old records that were set in the 1960's. ...

This may be the last warm week before we cool down for good with fall and winter weather. The forecast is for temperatures in the 80's all week with Thursday or Friday being the hottest days. We will start to cool off again maybe Friday but for sure by the weekend with rain expected...

Sunday was another smokey one, though it has gotten cooler. Thanks to a cold front with rain (YAY) the smoke has cleared and the rain has helped fire fighters. However, the cooling trend isn't going to last for long. It's expected to get back in to the 80s by the weekend...

Get ready for another heat wave! The National Weather Service has forecast temperatures near 108 degrees next Wednesday. The all time high for that specific day is 109 degrees that was set back in 1998 according to news reports. The temperature will be right around 100 degrees all wekend for boat races, then spike up to around 105 on Monday and Tuesday...
