Frightening news coming in this morning from Seattle. At least 2 buildings have collapsed after a natural gas explosion rocked the Greenwood area in north Seattle. At least 9 firefighters are reported to be injured but have now been released.

Fire crews were called to the scene around 1 a.m. due to reports of a gas leak and were on scene when the explosion occurred around 1:45 a.m. Seattle Fire Department was battling flames from the explosion and evacuated 2 other nearby buildings. SFD are using dogs to scour the debris field looking for victims. No one appears to be missing.

The gas leak came from an apartment building but three businesses were also damaged in the explosion: Mr. Gyros, Neptune Coffee, and Quick Stop. Click here for more details.
