Trees are magical. Not only do they provide and clean the air we breathe. They hold together earth and rock, give us food, and if nothing else are pretty! Arbor Day celebrates the green giants and was developed to help conserve our leafy friends. This Arbor Day, April 11th, Columbia Basin College is hosting its annual Celebration at 1:30pm outside the CBC library. This event is open to the public. CBC will be planting 10 trees and shrubs on campus. The first 50 participants to arrive will get a free Arbor Day T-shirt.

So, get out there and plant a tree! Will planting a tree really save the world? Maybe. But it's definitely a good start.
