‘Superman Memory Crystal’ Invented, Holds 360 Terabytes
Researchers have invented a crystal disc that manages to hold 360 terabytes of data and can withstand temperatures above 360 degrees Fahrenheit. They are calling it the "Superman Memory Crystal" after the crystals that stored Superman's history in Superman II with Christopher Reeve. Not only do they store a ton of data but they can store that data for an incredible 13 million years before breaking down reports say.
Scientists are excited for its practical uses but also because they now believe that all of human history and knowledge can now be stored and kept, even after all humans are gone.
